DayDrop stores all your data locally on your device. We do not collect, track, or sell any personal information.
DayDrop uses third-party services to generate background images for your countdowns. Before any data is sent, the app asks for your explicit consent. You can decline and still use the app — local fallback images are always available.
When you use the curated background image feature, DayDrop sends a category keyword (e.g., "travel", "birthday") to the Pexels API to fetch a relevant stock photo. No personal data is sent. See Pexels Privacy Policy.
When you use AI image generation, DayDrop sends the event title to Together AI to generate a background image. No other personal data is sent. See Together AI Privacy Policy.
Premium subscriptions are managed entirely by Apple's App Store. DayDrop does not process or store payment information. See Apple's Privacy Policy.
DayDrop syncs your countdown data across your devices using Apple's CloudKit infrastructure. This data is stored in your private iCloud account and is governed by Apple's iCloud Privacy Policy. DayDrop cannot access your iCloud data on our servers.
DayDrop uses local notifications only to remind you about upcoming events. No push notification server is involved. Notification content never leaves your device.
DayDrop uses the following services to improve app quality. No personally identifiable information is collected.
DayDrop does not include any advertising trackers, fingerprinting, or behavioral profiling.
DayDrop does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
